BRC sires continue to lead the fall show season, siring both the grand champion bull and the grand champion female at the 2025 Jacksonville Fair Open Show in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr MK Here Comes the Boom 16 was selected as Grand Champion Bull of this elite Florida open show. He is sired by BRC Boomtown 372/8 and out of AT Miss Joanna 965/1. He is owned by Patrick Lane Hartley. This win adds to many of this bulls consistent wins since the summer shows. This is a very impressive young herd sire.
BCC Lady Prada 248/3 was selected as Grand Champion Female. She is a many-time winner for Addison Worrell of Florida. Lady Prada is sired by Captain and out of Lady H Emma Manson 288. This female has been a super consistent winner over the last year and we congratulate the Bentke family for breeding this female and the Worrell’s for exhibiting her.
In other results, FBB Mr. 409, a Captain son out of a Moreno dam, was named reserve aged senior champion bull.
AT Miss Sage 211/4, a daughter of BRC Mr. Boom Box 38 out of a Circle T dam, was named reserve junior yearling champion female.
It is exciting for us to see not one, but three different BRC sires contributing to the winners circle at this prestigious show. This type of win showcases the depth of quality in the BRC bull battery of consistently offering sires that produce winners for those who love breeding quality Brahman cattle.
