Born of a flush procured from the Goudeau Family, Sweetie was destined for greatness. Since Sweetie had a larger frame size, we never showed her as a calf. She didn’t fit into the parameters set by the ABBA for show eligibility. Which meant, she had to wait until she reached the junior age category to begin competing. 

At her very first show, the National Brahman Show in October 2018, Sweetie was crowned National Champion Female. From San Antonio’s Grand Championship in February 2019 to the pinnacle of the 2019 Houston International Grand Championship, Sweetie blazed a trail that would define her legacy.  As judge Blake Nelson selected his champions at Houston that day, he said, “There is a female out here that, to me, represents the picture of what I think of in my head when you describe an ideal Brahman female.” And, of course, he was talking about Sweetie. As you look at the picture, Sweetie had her signature head-cocked, ears back stance as if she knew the championship was hers. 

Her iconic daughter, BRC Lady Glitter Sparkle, was named 2023 International Grand Champion Female and 2023 Miss World Brahman. Sweetie and Glitter represent two generations of International Champions, a profound testament where both the matriarch and her daughter claim the highest honors of the Brahman show ring.
