Rachel Cutrer

A seventh-generation Texas rancher, Rachel Cutrer is internationally recognized as one of the most influential Brahman breeders of the modern era. A serial entrepeneur, she leads many companies in the BRC family of brands including CEO of Ranch House Designs, president of Brahman Country Genetics and president of BRC Ranch Beef.

Rachel’s legacy as a breeder is firmly established through the impact of her cattle around the world. She is the breeder of +Mr. V8 458/7 “Noble,” one of the most important and widely used Brahman sires in breed history. Her breeding program produced BRC Me Again Margaret 254, the 2025 International Grand Champion Female and the 2024 World Brahman Congress Champion. For Rachel, seeing her daughter Mollie leading this female to global titles has been one of the proudest and most meaningful moments of her career—proof that great cattle and family legacies go hand in hand.

Rachel is a leading judge of Brahman and Brahman-influence cattle worldwide, including judging the National Brahman Show in Mexico and Paraguay along with many other shows in the USA.  She has judged the national junior showmanship contest for the Angus, Hereford, Charolais, Shorthorn, Brangus, Santa Gertrudis, Braunvieh, Simmental, Simbrah, and more. She has also served as a professor at Sullivan Supply's "Stock Show University" mentoring young people in the show cattle industry.

She was honored as the inaugural recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award for Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University, where she earned a B.S. in Animal Science. Her companies have been 7 time winners of the Aggie 100 award. She also holds an M.S. from Michigan State University.

Rachel currently serves as the Vice President of The Brahman Foundation. She is a director for Capital Farm Credit, one of the largest associations within the Farm Credit System; El Campo Memorial Hospital board of directors, and Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Council. Rachel served 16 years on the board of the American Brahman Breeders Association including a member of the executive committee, communications chairman, youth chairman, marketing chairman, and more.  A sought-after speaker and author, she regularly presents at agricultural conferences and universities.

In her younger years, Rachel was a two-time national champion showman in the American Junior Brahman Association, five time national showmanship winner in Shorthorn Junior Nationals, and exhibited numerous "All American" champions. She served as president of the American Junior Shorthorn Association in 2000.

Above all, Rachel is a devoted wife to Brandon and proud mother to Mollie and Annie. Her deepest motivation lies in raising great cattle, building lasting legacies, and helping others do the same.
