BRC Gussied Up Claims Grand Champion Female at the All American

July 15, 2025

Bryan, Texas – BRC Gussied Up 372, bred by BRC Ranch, was named the Grand Champion Female of the 2025 “All American” National Junior Brahman Show.

This show, held each summer, is the largest single junior Brahman show in the United States, drawing in over 700 entries from exhibitors throughout the south. This marks the 3rd consecutive year that a BRC female has claimed the champion female title at this prestigious show.

Wyatt Landry, junior exhibitor from Louisiana, exhibited “Gus” to the championship title. Gus is a daughter of BRC Sweetie 486/8 and sired by MSP King Garrett. We congratulate the entire Landry family on this memorable win. Gus was also named senior champion and was the class winner of the oldest class of the show.

BRC Smoke Show 368 Gus’s full sister, followed right in her sister’s footsteps by claiming the Reserve Senior Championship title. Smoke Show is exhibited by Mollie Cutrer.

BRC I Wish You Would 523 – aka “Minnie” was named Division 2 Yearling Champion Female. This is the most exciting young female we have possibly ever raised at BRC. And, she is also a full sister to Gus and Smoke Show, making three full sisters standing out in the grand champion drive. Quite an impressive feat that showcases the consistency of judge Qwest Newberry’s preferences by choosing three full sisters to emerge to the top. Mollie Cutrer is the exhibitor of Minnie.

BRC Shush 478 claimed the class winning title in the March 2024 heifer class. “Shush” was sold in our 2024 Night of Champions sale and purchased by Layton Jo Jefferson. The Jefferson family has done a tremendous job with this beautiful Captain daughter.

Two BRC heifers rose to the top in the highly competitive January 2024 heifer class – both featured lots of our Night of Champions Sale. BRC SHAK YOUR BOOM BOOM 464 placed 2nd, exhibited by Anna Gutierrez. 464 is a full sister to Amos Moses, being a 160 out of Boom Shaka Laka. BRC DON’T LOOK ETHEL 471 – a Noble x 103 – placed 4th and was shown by Luke Natali of Louisiana.

BRC Hey Say May 505 was a class contender in the May 2024 heifer class, placing 6th for Brock Sartwelle but capturing comments from the judge that she was the most structurally sound heifer in the class, and he looked forward to seeing how she continued to develop. 505 is a 160 x 21 making her a full sister to BRC Amos Moses.

Jackson Crew did an outstanding job exhibiting BRC Ashley Grant 489 to a 6th place finish in the March 2024 heifer class. Ashley is a super moderate, very functional female who is also a 160 daughter.

BRC Playing With Fire 490, one of the highlights of our 2024 Night of Champions Sale, placed 7th in this very large and highly competitive class. She is exhibited by Maaz Siddiqui.

BRC HOLIDAY SMILE 395 placed 9th in class, exhibited by Augustus Renk. BRC MAYBE ITS MAYBELIEV placed 6th in class, exhibited by Tate Moor. Both of these heifers were purchased through the BRC private treaty pens.

BRC is proud to sell high quality Brahman junior show heifers to top junior exhibitors at all price points and budgets. We thank these juniors and their families for choosing BRC.

Our next set of show heifer prospects will sell October 2025 in the BRC “Night of Champions” sale.
