Bryan, Texas – There is nothing quite as satisfying for a seedstock cattle breeder as seeing other breeders rising to the top using your genetics. To us, this is the mark of a true breeder.

At this year’s All American National Junior Brahman Show, seven junior exhibitors’ dreams came true by reaping the rewards of their own breeding program winning in the bred-and-owned show.
The bred-and-owned show is a separate stand alone cattle show reserved only for juniors who home-raised their cattle. This show highlights the dedication of junior members in breeding their own champions. By providing top quality AI sires to the public market in the USA, and offering top quality replacement females and show heifers, BRC is able to play a small role in these juniors success. We congratulate these juniors on their great show at the All American!
EZR Mr. Lucchese was named the class winner of the November 2024 bull class. He is sired by Yetistone and out of BRC Annie Bananie 269 (a Captain daughter). Providence Ezell bred and exhibited this bull. Annie Bananie was Providence’s show heifer last year and Lucchese is the first calf out of Annie Bananie. The Captain daughters are making great mothers and Lucchese’s success is a fine example.
FL LOVELY LADY GERALDINE 28 and Holden Jefferson continued their winning streak with a 1st place in the September 2024 heifer class. Holden’s heifer is a direct daughter of BRC LYNN’S LOVELY LADY 27, one of Holden’s former show heifers purchased from BRC.
Luke Natali claimed the class winning blue ribbon on the June 2024 heifer class with NC MISS JENNY24/1, a Captain daughter.
RSC MISS CAMELLIA 114/4, a Captain daughter, place 2nd in the May 2024 heifer class, exhibited by Prestyn Shelley.
RKH MR. BOOMSHOT 225/4 claimed the 4th place award in in the December 2024 bull class for Ricou Hartman. Ricou’s bull is sired by BRC BOOMTOWN 372/8. This bull however, was first in class in the owned show.
The Gutierrez family of Florida is rocking with offspring from BRC Shaka Rita 138, their former show heifer purchased in our Night of Champions Sale. Anna Gutierrez is doing an amazing job. 4GF POLLED RITO 1/138 (P) placed 3rd in Class 25. 4GF ROCKS RITA 6/138 placed 3rd in the June 2024 heifer class.
Sophie Denison of Louisiana placed 3rd in Class 78 with MS GS 52/1, another Captain daughter. Her second Captain daughter, MS GS 51/1, also placed 3rd in the December 2024 class. Their third Captain daughter, Ms. GS 48/1, placed 3rd in the April 2024 class.
