Congratulations to Jacob Kroker and the entire Kroker family on their Grand Champion Brahman Female at Expo Neuland 2026 in Paraguay. This outstanding female is sired by M2 BRC Captain, and she represents everything we believe Brahman cattle should be—functional, maternal, and built with purpose. Earlier in the year, BRC’s Captain bull was named the #1 ranking sire of Paraguay, and it’s thanks to great progeny like this.
There’s something different about cattle that win far from home.
Not because of banners or titles—but because they have to work. They have to adapt. They have to perform in environments that don’t forgive shortcuts or trend-driven breeding.
That’s exactly why we take so much pride in celebrating this win.
From a phenotype standpoint, she’s impressive. But what stands out most to us is her udder quality, structure, and maternal strength, all proven with a calf at side. In ranching environments like Paraguay, those traits aren’t optional—they’re essential.
For those unfamiliar, Expo Neuland is one of the most respected livestock exhibitions in Paraguay, drawing serious cattlemen and progressive breeders who are focused on building herds that thrive in challenging climates. The level of competition reflects a region where cattle must perform under pressure—heat, forage variability, and long-term productivity demands.
That’s why this win matters.
The Kroker family are international breeders who are making intentional, disciplined decisions in their programs. They aren’t chasing fads—they’re selecting genetics that will move their herd forward for the long haul. We had the opportunity to spend time with them earlier this spring when they visited us in Texas, and it only reinforced what we already knew: they are thoughtful, committed cattlemen building something meaningful.
At BRC, we’ve always believed that great cattle aren’t the result of luck. They are the result of planned matings, honest evaluation, and a relentless focus on what actually works in the pasture. Seeing those principles validated in another country, under a completely different set of conditions, is incredibly rewarding.
We have deep respect for the breeders of Paraguay and the role they play in the global Brahman industry. Their expectations are high—and rightfully so.
To the Kroker family, thank you for trusting BRC genetics and for putting them to work where it counts.
This is what it’s all about.
