Arms Cattle Co. Acquires BRC 160

February 10, 2021

BR Cutrer, Inc. announced today the sale of half-interest in their 160/8 Brahman herd sire to Arms Cattle Co.

“The Arms family has been acquiring top genetics from several breeders across the southern United States in 2020 and 2021,” said Brandon Cutrer, co-general manager of BRC. “We are so thrilled that they selected 160 as their foundation herd bull to complement the very excellent cow herd they have assembled.”

One of the heaviest muscled bulls we’ve ever made at BRC, this top Noble son re-defines performance. Early 2020 calf reports are promising and have us excited about his future.

In fall 2020 160 was featured as our “mystery lot” in our sale, and two units of semen for use in the USA sold for $18,000.  He ranks in the top 1% of the breed for all the major growth indicators – WW, YW, and REA.

He also ranks in the top 1% for the ABBA’s bull index value and top 2% for the ABBA’s female index and is super sound footed and free moving.

“When we met the Arms family we instantly hit it off as friends,” said Rachel Cutrer of BRC. “Brad and Annette are a hard working family and have built their business from the ground up and we really connected with them since we also appreciate hard work and entrepreneurship. It is really fun to become friends and partners with people who share the same values and goals. We are really looking forward to working together.”

Semen is available on 160 only an international level at this time. For country rights inquiries or semen for export please email office@brcutrer.com.
