BRC 2024 Beyond the Banner Scholarship Recipients

BRC Ranch is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 BRC Beyond the Banner Scholarships, presented at the AJBA All American/Brahman Foundation Scholarship Banquet in West Monroe, Louisiana. This year, three outstanding young individuals were honored for their exceptional achievements and contributions to the Brahman breed.

Kayla Strack: A Visionary Leader
Kayla Strack is a name well-known in the Brahman community. Her journey has been marked by exemplary leadership and dedication. Serving as the president of the Texas Junior Brahman Association, Kayla has showcased her ability to lead and inspire her peers. Her future pursuits in entrepreneurship and real estate highlight her ambition to make significant strides beyond the Brahman breed. Kayla’s leadership qualities and drive are precisely what the Beyond the Banners Scholarship aims to support.

Adrienne Thibodeaux: Master of Showmanship
Adrienne Thibodeaux has earned her place in the spotlight through her exceptional cattle showmanship. Her passion for stockmanship has led her to win numerous competitions and shows, making her a role model for aspiring junior showmen. Adrienne’s commitment to excellence and her pursuit of a degree in animal science underscore her dedication to the livestock industry. Her accomplishments in the ring and her academic aspirations make her a deserving recipient of this scholarship.

Marcus Moore: Emerging Leader
Marcus Moore may be relatively new to the Brahman showing scene, but his impact has been profound. His rise to prominence is a testament to his leadership, service, and inclusive nature. Marcus has embraced his role in the community, welcoming new members and fostering a spirit of camaraderie. As he prepares to attend Texas A&M University with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian, Marcus’s dedication to the Brahman breed and his future goals are commendable.

Each of these exceptional young individuals received a $1,250 college scholarship. Their achievements reflect the core values of the BRC Ranch and the Brahman community. To date, BRC has invested over $80,000 in scholarships for youth, reaffirming our commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders in agriculture.

Congratulations to Kayla, Adrienne, and Marcus on their well-deserved scholarships. We are excited to see the remarkable contributions they will make in their respective fields and within the Brahman community. Their stories are a testament to the bright future of the Brahman breed and the continued success of our youth programs.
