Judge’s Commentary on Ecuadorian Cattle
Judge Stuart Watkins was highly complimentary of the cattle presented at the Expoferia Ganadera. He remarked on the impressive muscle mass, structural soundness, fertility, and overall balance of the animals, highlighting the breeders’ ability to manage cattle in excellent condition without excess fat. Watkins also noted that the level of competition was extremely high, citing this as one of the most competitive shows he has judged. Many Ecuadorian breeders use top-tier American Brahman genetics from renowned operations such as BRC, Heritage Cattle, JD Hudgins, and Santa Elena.

The Global Reach of BRC Genetics
Seeing BRC genetics excel at international shows like this is truly humbling for us. We’re thrilled to see our genetics making an impact in Ecuador and beyond, where breeders continue to blend the best from BRC with other leading American bloodlines. The global demand for BRC sires like +M2 BRC Captain 518/1 and 259 proves that our cattle are setting the standard for excellence, whether in Texas or South America.

Congratulations to all the winners at the 2024 LXXIX Expoferia Ganadera. We’re proud to be part of your success and excited to see what the future holds for these exceptional Brahman cattle!
