BRC Bloodline Shines at the Tabasco Show

May 10, 2025

BRC Ranch is proud to celebrate a standout showing for our genetics at the 2025 Exposición Ganadera Regional in Tabasco, Mexico. This prestigious event once again confirmed that BRC-sired cattle continue to raise the bar across international show rings — combining eye appeal, functionality, and pedigree power that wins banners.

The BRC bloodline was part of both of the Grand Champion Grey Brahman Female and Grand Champion Grey Brahman Bull at this prestigious show. Noble sired the champion female, and a BRC female was the mother of the grand champion bull.

Grand & Adulta Champion Gray Female
ALP ESPERANZA FIV 589/1

  • Sire: +MR. V8 458/7 (+BRC NOBLE)
  • Dam: RYRGO.- MISS MONTEBELLO 166
  • Owner: Rancho El Chacté

This impressive female dominated the show with her elite phenotype and balance, carrying the unmistakable stamp of her sire, +BRC Noble — a cornerstone of our program and one of the breed’s most influential bulls of the modern era.

Grand Champion & Joven Champion Gray Bull
MRM Dodger FIV 94/3

Sire: JDH MR DOVER MANSO 400/0

  • Dam: MISS V8 332/8 (An R-branded female we bred and raised prior to moving to the BRC brand)
  •  Owner: GANADERIA SAN JOSE

The dam of this cow, born in 2015, was one of our first “breeding projects” which was a result of us breeding my grandpa’s 830/6 bull on some of our more maternally focused females. 332’s dam was a female bred by Sloan Williams that we purchased from him early in our marriage, from his private Triangle T herd.

Reserve Becerra Champion Gray Female
MDFE MISS VALENTINA 250/4 IA

  • Sire: +M2 BRC Captain 518/1
  • Dam: MDFE.- MISS VALENTINA 107/2
  • Owner: Rancho San Valentín

Sired by the performance powerhouse +M2 BRC Captain 518/1, this young female is proof that BRC bulls not only produce show winners, but also cattle with the kind of muscle, structure, and eye appeal that stand out early and stay relevant in the pasture.

Becerro Champion Gray Bull
RGO PLUTON DE MONTEBELLO 489/4

  • Sire: +MR. V8 458/7 (+BRC NOBLE)
  • Dam: AM JOYITA DE MONTEBELLO 2207/0
  • Owner: Rancho Montebello

Another son of +BRC Noble, this bull calf wowed the judges with his natural muscle shape, structure, and style — showing the consistency and potency of the Noble line even in its youngest generations.

We congratulate Rancho El Chacté, Rancho San Valentín, Ganaderia San Jose, and Rancho Montebello on their success and thank them for believing in the power of BRC bloodlines. These wins aren’t just banners — they’re proof that investing in superior, DNA-verified genetics pays off in the ring and in your herd.

We also appreciate The Brahman Journal for their outstanding coverage of this show, allowing us to see the winners and have photos from this premier event.

From Texas to Tabasco, BRC sired cattle continue to lead the way.
