BRC Ranch is now seeking great people to join our team for late fall 2025 and into the 2026 season. We have a variety of positions open including full time, part time and even seasonal stock show help.
We have general job positions posted, but also are looking more for 1-2 great people to join the team, and once they come on board, may find their specific groove.

The first team member we are looking to fill is what we are calling “Director of Genetics.” Keaton Dodd first filled this role when he joined us over 5 years ago. Through the years, he grew and developed professional and grew into our VP of Seedstock Cattle. We have not really had anyone in this position for the last few years as Keaton was promoted. But this position is the perfect job for someone who loves breeding great cattle and loves cattle judging and cattle performance data. But also, at the same time, doesn’t mind pitching in and helping out in other places on the ranch if needed or if they prefer. They also would love going to shows, BIF convention, Beef Cattle Short Course, etc. It’s the person on the BRC team who stays in touch with cattle genetics, indexes, performance data, that sort of stuff. Our herd is about 60% Brahman, 30% Hereford and 10% Angus. So, you need to be interested in Brahman cattle but also at the same time, this could be a really good fit for someone who just loves good seedstock of any breed.
We are also always looking for great people to help us in the show cattle program. We have a great herdsman (Connor), and a great former herdsman (Harley) still on the team, so this is definitely a spot where you can work with and be part of a very strong team. We are ideally looking for someone to jump in as more of an “assistant herdsman” type job. Helping right there day to day in the show barn, and then being able to also stick one when we have 2 in a class or 2 in a drive. This is a full time job. We are also always looking for reliable people to be part of our stock show road crew – going with us to stock shows. This could be about 20 days a year. Houston would be the biggest, at a week. But, we do go to a few other shows throughout the year and are looking for dedicated people who can go along with Connor to the shows. Here is info on these type jobs.
And then finally, we are wanting to add just a good ol’ ranch hand to the team. Someone who can focus on day to day stuff at BRC Ranch in Boling and also go with us about 6 to 10 trips a year to the Louisiana ranch. This is a cowman’s type job. Here is that info.
