BRC junior exhibitors rose to the top of the highly-competitive 50th Anniversary Texas Junior Brahman Association (TJBA) State Show, held in early June in Bryan, Texas. The TJBA reported over 700 head of cattle entered in this show. Dr. Mark Hoge served as the judge.

Hoge described Smoke Show as “intimidatingly impressive” as he described his champion female. Smoke Show is a full sister to the 2025 International Champion Bull BRC Johnny Brahman 299, and carries forward the Sweetie 486/8 line that has produced numerous winners for BRC. Her blend of structure, performance, and maternal value earned her the show’s highest female honor.

Known affectionately as “Minnie,” this full sister to Smoke Show continued the family’s winning tradition. A heifer with flawless balance and undeniable presence, Minnie is one of the most promising young females raised at BRC to date.

Reserve Grand Champion Bull

A familiar name in the show circuit, Six Gun 328 claimed Reserve Grand Champion Bull honors for BRC junior Jackson Crew. With an ideal sheath design, powerful muscle shape, and breed character, this son of the legendary 160/8 continues to uphold the BRC standard.

BRC Shush 478, exhibited by Layton Jo Jefferson, was a class winner. This Captain daughter sold in our 2024 Night of Champions Sale and has been a great junior show heifer for the Jefferson family.

BRC Holiday Smile 395, exhibited by Augustus Renk, was a class winner. This female also sold in our 2023 Night of Champions Event.

BRC Walkin On Sunshine 390, exhibited by Charles Eddie Wilson, placed 2nd in class. This exceptional Captain daughter is a many time champion and was purchased in our 2023 Night of Champions Sale.
