West Monroe, Louisiana – June 28, 2024 – BRC Me Again Margaret 254 has clinched the prestigious Grand Championship title at the 2024 American Junior Brahman Association (AJBA) All American National Junior Brahman Show held in West Monroe, Louisiana. The event, attended by Brahman enthusiasts from across the nation, featured over 450 head of gray Brahman females competing for the title. Dr. Chris Skaggs from Texas A&M University served as the judge.
Margaret’s victory marks a back-to-back win at this esteemed competition, having also secured the top honors last year under judge Webb Fields. Additionally, Margaret was previously crowned the 2023 USA National Open Show Grand Champion Female.
A descendant of the renowned BRC’s Noble, Margaret impressed the judges with her exceptional qualities. According to Dr. Chris Skaggs, “In terms of putting the pieces of the puzzle together, she does so. She is very attractive in her head, cool up through her neck and front end, big in her body, good in her lines, super level from hooks to pins, lot of muscle shape when you get behind her. She’s the individual that your eyes gravitate to in terms of her quality.”
Reflecting on Margaret’s performance, Dr. Skaggs noted during the grand drive, where Margaret emerged victorious among a field of exceptional contenders from different divisions. Dr. Skaggs remarked, “Five good champions. Five excellent champions. Five amazing champions. It’s been a phenomenal show. As you think back during the day, during the different divisions, were there some heifers that stood out and dominated? Yes, I think there were. Your grand champion of the 2024 All American comes from division five!.”
BRC Me Again Margaret 254 wouldn’t be the champion she is without her partner and showman, Mollie Jo Cutrer. Through their hard work, practice, and expertise, they have prevailed as an excellent team over the last two years.
