The sale averaged $5,980 per head, which reflects more than a $1200 per head premium over the current average of all Brahman females sold so far in 2025 ($4784 per head). This data reflects the demand for BRC bloodlines and that breeders are seeking top tier replacements like what was offered in this sale.
Overall, the Captain daughters had the highest sire average, with an average sale price of $7,400 per head. Tugboat Captain (a son of Captain)’s progeny averaged $6,200 per head.
This sale had a tremendous reach and impact, with buyers from 6 U.S. states and over 60 bidders from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Mexico. This indicates strong demand for BRC and Brahman genetics throughout the southern USA.
This is our third year hosting the Brahman Country Genetics Sale, and it is always our absolute honor. We love being able to give back to the people who believe in BRC and use our bloodlines.
