On May 17–18, some of our very own BRC team members proudly joined the ranks of distinguished educators at Sullivan Supply’s Stock Show University 2-Day Grad Program in Wharton, Texas. This special event marked a unique milestone—a “slick shear” intensive workshop tailored specifically for Brahman and Brahman crossbred show cattle.
Representing BRC Ranch, Rachel Cutrer and Harley Wade were honored to serve as Stock Show U Professors, offering hands-on instruction and mentorship to the next generation of showmen. Hand-selected for their expertise in Brahman show cattle management, nutrition, and showmanship, Rachel and Harley brought not only their knowledge but also their heart for youth development and service to others. Also, Brandon Cutrer provided a motivational message Sunday morning entitled “Finishing the Work” which focused on faith, love and kindness.
The Stock Show U team for this event included fellow professors Mallory Parrish and Seth Martin, along with Stock Show U coordinator Aaron Boyce. The event included two days of skill-building, networking, and community.
Sullivan Supply’s Stock Show University is a one-of-a-kind educational program that has become a cornerstone of the livestock show world—empowering young exhibitors with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in and out of the ring. BRC is proud to support this mission and regularly uses and recommends Sullivan Supply products in our own championship show string preparation.
