BRC Ranch once again claimed the Grand Champion Brahman Bull and Grand Champion Brahman Female honors for the 2nd show in a row this weekend at the Louisiana Sugar Classic in New Iberia, LA. This show is hosted by the Louisiana Brahman Association and one of the premier shows of the fall.
Not to mention, great food and great hospitality as you would expect!
Since BRC herdsman Connor Thibodeaux is a Louisiana native, and Brandon thinks he’s about half-cajun himself, we look forward to these shows and seeing all our many friends and fellow Brahman breeders from Louisiana. We took two heifers and two bulls to the show and had great success!
BRC Grand River 690 continues his fall winning streak by being named Grand Champion Bull. This exceptional young bull has built quite a fan club since his show ring debut at the Kickoff only a month ago where he was also named Reserve Grand Champion Bull. And last week, he was also chosen Grand Champion Bull at the Washington County Fair.
This bull is the result of mating both of our 2023 National Champions: BRC Amos Moses 257 x BRC Me Again Margaret 254, who is the winningest female in the history of BRC Ranch. This bull is so powerful, masculine, sound and with a very desirable clean underline.
BRC Your Gypsy 700 was also named Grand Champion Female for the 2nd week in a row. This exceptional female is also sired by BRC Amos Moses 257 and out of BRC Come on Eileen 75. She too has had a great run of summer/early fall shows including being Grand Champion Female last week at the 2026 Washington County Fair.

BRC Hit The Floor 745, who was named Reserve Senior Yearling Champion Female. She is a past sale highlight in our spring 2026 sale and a daughter of 160/8 out of BRC Apple Blossom 249. She is owned by Ross Turner.
BRC Storm Coming 580 was named Intermediate Champion Bull also for the second week in a row. He has been shown at three shows this fall and been a class winner all three times. 580 is a son of 160/8 out of Come On Eileen and owned by BRC and Finley Bros. Cattle LLC.
