Big Wins for BRC at the 2025 Jambalaya Classic

The 2025 Jambalaya Classic Junior Show brought together some of the finest  Brahman cattle and exhibitors from across the region—and BRC genetics made a commanding statement in the show ring. Held in West Monroe, Louisiana, and judged by Mitch Thomas, this year’s event was packed with standout performances, unforgettable moments, and tremendous success for BRC-bred cattle.

BRC bloodlines sired both the grand and reserve champion grey females at the show. We’re proud to spotlight three BRC champions who each captured their respective division titles, showcasing the power, consistency, and genetic excellence that define our program.

Grand Champion Female
Miss HC Quinn 180/3

Dam: +Miss WCC Violet 217/6

Miss HC Quinn 180/3 was named grand champion female. Sired by the influential +M2 BRC Captain 518/1, this female exemplifies the elegance that defines the Captain bloodline—once again proving why his genetics remain among the most sought-after in the breed. Congratulations to Herzog Cattle!

Walters My Betty 661

Walters My Betty 661 captured attention with her youthful charm , earning both calf champion and reserve grand champion honors. This young female is one of the first daughters by BRC Ghost Pepper 133, a bull we own in partnership with Walters Livestock.. Congratulations to the Walters family!

Intermediate Champion Female

At Miss Reba 168/4 was  the Intermediate Champion. Sired by the legendary +BRC 458/7 “Noble”, this female is  a prime example of what Noble consistently delivers: eye appeal, balance, and undeniable presence. This heifer represents the next wave of championship genetics, and we couldn’t be more proud of the role BRC breeding played in her success. Congratulations to Anna Kate Thomas!
