BRC Ranch recently hosted the Texas AgriLife Extension Service’s annual County Agents Tour, held April 9th at BRC Ranch.
The event welcomed approximately 30 AgriLife agents in the areas of agriculture, 4-H development, horticulture, aquaculture, and more.
Brandon Cutrer provided a brief welcome and overview of the BRC history and development. Then, the group evaluated some of our high quality show cattle, followed by a hayride ranch tour looking at our pasture management and embryo program.
Upon return, the group enjoyed a BRC Brahman Burger lunch prepared with BRC Ranch Beef and cooked by local restaurant, Mach’s Restaurant.
Rowdy Sandoval, agent in Fort Bend County, helped coordinate the visit.
“Thank you BRC for the ranch tour,” Sandoval said. “Everyone enjoyed it and the burgers were great! Great representation of a Brahman ranch and the quality of Brahman beef.”
The AgriLife Extension Service is very near and dear to our hearts here at BRC. Both Brandon and Rachel are former Extension employees, and we turn to the Extension Service as our trusted advisors for beef cattle management questions.
We greatly enjoyed the visit and say THANK YOU to the Extension Service for their tireless work.
