BRC Sires Produce 2025 National Champion Grey Brahman Females

November 10, 2025

BRC chose not to compete at the National Brahman Show this year — yet the Grand and Reserve Champion females, along with three class winners, were sired by BRC bulls or out of BRC dams.

We’re proud to share the kind of genetics that make champions — not just for us, but for anyone bold enough to dream big. Time always reveals who’s truly building for the future. The breeders who choose to align with integrity and progress are the ones you’ll see in the winner’s circle.

The 2025 National Brahman Show was held November 2025 in Bryan, Texas. Dakoda Smith of Louisiana served as the judge.

MISS HC QUINN 180/3

MISS HC QUINN 180/3 was chosen as the 2025 National Champion Grey Brahman Female. She is bred and owned by Herzog Cattle. Miss HC Quinn is sired by + M2 BRC Captain 518/1 and out of + MISS WCC VIOLET 217/6, a female bred by our good friends at Watkins Cattle.

Judge Smith described this female as fresh and yet powerful in his grand champion selection. He then followed up with the youngest heifer of the grand champion drive as 2025 Reserve National Champion Grey Brahman Female – Miss 5H Tatum 8/5.

Miss 5H Tatum 8/5

Miss 5H Tatum 8/5 was also the winner of the youngest division of the show. She is sired by 160/8. She is a female who has done very well at smaller shows throughout the fall prior to the national show and we were very excited to see this big win for the Harris family. They have been investing in BRC semen for over ten years and always get in on our young semen sires when the opportunity is offered.

In addition to the two overall champions, we congratulate the following class winners:

Miss HC Yazmin 244/4, a class winner in the grey female show, also bred by Herzog cattle. She is sired by Captain.

FL Lovely Lady Scarlet 23, a class winner in the grey female show, bred by Holden Jefferson. She is out of BRC Lynn’s Lovely Lady 27, one of Holden’s former BRC show heifers.

Mr. 5H Finn 7/4, a class winner in the grey bull show, bred by Brynn Harris. He is a Captain son out of Miss 5H Jade 7/1.

As you study these pedigrees, you see that BRC sires and dams are consistently used across the breed with a variety of other bloodlines that result in success. We are happy to be half of the equation!

Congratulations to all of these winners. At this time, BRC semen is available through Bovine Elite. Our USA semen sales have been paused at this time, but you may contact us for private inquiries.
