BRC Genetics Continue to Dominate the 2026 AJBA All American

July 6, 2026

BRC Ranch genetics once again rose to the top of the recent 2026 American Junior Brahman Association ‘All American” National Junior Brahman Show.

At the 2026 AJBA All American, BRC Ranch genetics were represented by winners from coast to coast, earning championships and class victories for junior exhibitors across Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. Behind every banner is years of breeding decisions, generations of cow families, and a breeding philosophy that values consistency over chance.

Among 569 Grey Brahman entries, BRC genetics accounted for:

  • 13 champion-producing sires
  • 17 distinct winning animals
  • 32 champion and class-winning placings

Most importantly, those victories came from an entire battery of BRC bulls, each contributing to the continued success of junior breeders across the country.

Captain Continues to Build His Legacy

No sire produced more winning animals than +M2 BRC Captain 518/1, whose daughters continued to dominate the Grey Female Show. Additionally, it was very rewarding to start seeing Captain listed as the maternal grandsire of several additional winners, indicating that Captain daughters are producing the next generation of champions.

Captain daughters included:

  • Miss DSC 44/5, exhibited by Teal Kraehnke, who earned Reserve Division Champion and First in Class.
  • Miss HC Yazmin, exhibited by Weston Bridges, who captured Reserve Division Champion and First in Class.
  • MS AS Sadie 134/5, exhibited by Ali Thayne, First Place Class Winner.

Captain continues to prove why he remains one of the breed’s most reliable sire choices, consistently producing feminine, functional, competitive females for breeders across the United States.

Hey Dude’s First Winners Are Making Headlines

One of the biggest stories from this year’s show was the continued emergence of BRC Hey Dude 118, one of BRC’s former National Champion Brahman Bulls.

His offspring earned:

  • Division 2 Champion Bred & Owned Grey BullMr. TK Hey Buck 12, exhibited by Tyley Bouler.
  • First Place Class WinnerMiss TK Rimmey 11, also exhibited by Tyley Bouler.

For a young sire, producing both champion bulls and winning females at a national show is exactly the kind of consistency breeders hope to see. A limited amount of semen for USA use is available through Bovine Elite.

Jacko Keeps the Momentum Going

Another young BRC sire proving his value is BRC GCC Jacko 315. This is a young bull that was purchased by 4G Brahmans in Florida as their natural breeding service sire.

Jacko offspring earned:

  • Reserve Division 2 Champion Bred & Owned Grey Bull4GF Mr. Ernie 18, exhibited by Anna Gutierrez.
  • First Place Class Winner4GF Lady Daisy 17, also exhibited by Anna Gutierrez.

These results continue to establish Jacko as one of the exciting young sires emerging from the BRC breeding program.

Champions Across the Entire Sire Battery

The success of BRC genetics extended well beyond the headline winners.

Additional class winners included:

  • BRC Shake Rattle Roll 703, sired by BRC Geronimo’s Cadillac 230, exhibited by Brock Sartwelle.
  • Miss SC Polled TX Queen 125/5, sired by BRC Republic of Texas 36, exhibited by Drew Grezaffi.
  • PCC New Tugboat Annie, sired by BRC Tugboat Captain 125, exhibited by Berrie Belt.
  • MK Miss Josie 22, sired by BRC Mr. Aggie 108, exhibited by Layne Hartley.
  • Mr. JH 62/5 Beau, sired by +Mr. V8 458/7, exhibited by Kolby Joe Kocian.
  • Mr. LK Stop and Stare 28/4, sired by BRC Whoa Macklin 112, selected Reserve Senior Champion Bred & Owned Grey Bull, exhibited by Lillie Vogt.
  • Miss TR Rainy 995 (P), sired by BRC Dutton 376, selected Calf Champion Bred & Owned Grey Female, exhibited by Kaston Tipp.

From proven breed leaders to young sires producing their first winning calf crops, the BRC sire battery continues to demonstrate exceptional depth and consistency.

More Than One Great Bull

Perhaps the most encouraging takeaway from this year’s AJBA All American wasn’t one individual champion.

It was the breadth of the results.

Thirteen different BRC sires produced winning offspring. Seventeen unique animals earned championships or class victories. Those cattle were exhibited by junior breeders representing multiple states, different breeding programs, and diverse cow families.

That kind of success doesn’t happen by accident.

It reflects years of disciplined breeding decisions, a commitment to building cattle with lasting value, and a philosophy centered on developing The Modern Brahman—functional, productive, phenotypically correct cattle that can compete at the highest level while delivering value for generations.

To every junior exhibitor and family who chose BRC genetics, thank you. Your hard work, dedication, and trust in our breeding program continue to inspire us.

Congratulations to all of the exhibitors, breeders, and families who made the 2026 AJBA All American an outstanding event. We are honored to play a small part in your success.
