At just 15 years old, Mollie Cutrer has earned one of the highest honors available to a junior Brahman exhibitor.
Competing against 292 contestants ranging in age from 8 to 18, Mollie was selected as the 2026 Reserve Overall Grand Champion Showman at the AJBA All American, the largest and most competitive junior Brahman show in the United States.
For those outside the cattle industry, it would be easy to assume this award is simply about leading a halter-broke animal around a ring.
It isn’t.
Showmanship is widely regarded as one of the purest tests of a young cattleman’s knowledge, preparation, confidence and stockmanship.
Unlike breeding classes, where judges evaluate the animal, showmanship evaluates the exhibitor.
The focus is on the person holding the lead.

What Makes Showmanship Different?
In a breeding class, a great animal can help create opportunities.
In showmanship, the exhibitor is the one being judged.
Judges evaluate how well contestants understand their animal, how confidently they present it, how effectively they respond to changing ring conditions, and how professionally they work with both the judge and fellow exhibitors.
Success requires hundreds, if not thousands of hours spent working with cattle long before stepping into the show ring. It is a competition built on preparation, discipline, and consistency.
Years of Preparation
For Mollie, this achievement represents years of dedication.
Growing up at BRC Ranch, she has spent countless mornings, evenings and weekends working cattle, learning livestock evaluation, and preparing for junior shows across the country.
While championship banners are exciting, the lessons learned through agriculture extend far beyond the show ring.
Responsibility.
Patience.
Sportsmanship.
Work ethic.
Leadership.
Those are the qualities that showmanship develops, and they are the same qualities that prepare young people for success throughout life.
More Than a Banner
At BRC Ranch, we often say that our greatest accomplishment isn’t raising great cattle. It’s helping raise great young people. Watching Mollie earn the title of 2026 Reserve Overall Grand Champion Showman is especially meaningful because this award reflects something no pedigree can provide.
Character.
Confidence.
Knowledge.
Poise under pressure.
Congratulations, Mollie, on an outstanding accomplishment.
We are proud not only of the award you earned, but of the work ethic, humility and professionalism you demonstrated along the way.
Those qualities will serve you far beyond the show ring.
